Keep column headings visible while you scroll. Oddly, Apple's own Mail and iCal apps don't work with Exchange 2003 either, but iOS devices do. IMAP and POP worked perfectly, and if you're using common email providers like Gmail or MobileMe Outlook does a good job of automatically configuring itself using just your email address.
